A long, long time ago, from the fusion of feminine power, AJ LAW was born – a law firm of legal counsels based in Kraków. You probably already know the brilliant Dr. Joanna Uchańska and Attorney-at-Law Aleksandra Diskau. Now, meet AJ LAW. Welcome to a world where law and dreams go hand in hand.
The name AJ LAW comes from the first letters of our names: Aleksandra and Joanna. Our symbol is set within an ellipse because we deeply believe in a holistic and comprehensive approach to business—focusing not only on the details, but also on a perspective that requires looking at the same problem from different angles, continuously and from all sides. We believe this approach makes sense.
Our name is also a play on words: “AJ,” when heard as the English “I,” becomes “I law” — expressing “I am law.” It reflects our philosophy, where fundamental human and civil rights are at the core of how we think about law. We believe that the law can describe and shape reality, that it can be a tool to pursue dreams and to live in harmony — with others and with oneself. We are convinced that the law can also change the world for the better.
We have been active in the legal industry for over a dozen years, gaining experience that enables us to effectively support both the business and academic worlds. We have handled hundreds of cases, dedicating thousands of hours to providing our clients with comprehensive legal assistance. With passion, we organize trainings, sharing our knowledge and experience — not only helping others develop their skills, but also inspiring them to take action.
