AJ LAW participated in Pack4Future – Quality and Safety of Food and Dietary Supplement Packaging, responding to the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) revolution.

Our law firm, AJ LAW, actively participates in numerous industry events to stay close to entrepreneurs—allowing us to better understand their needs and share our expertise. AJ LAW had the honor of attending this year’s FoodFakty Conference, held on March 11–12, 2025. The event brought together leading experts from the food industry who shared insights on the latest trends, changes in food law, and technological innovations.

During the conference, we had the opportunity to participate in numerous panel discussions and workshops that focused on topics such as new regulations on food packaging, food safety, and sustainable development in the food sector. The exchange of experiences and knowledge with other professionals allowed us to deepen our expertise and establish valuable business connections.

Two partners from our law firm, Attorney Joanna Uchańska, Ph.D., and Aleksandra Diskau, delivered presentations, sharing their knowledge and experience with the conference participants.

Joanna Uchańska, Ph.D. delivered a lecture titled:
“Packaging on the Market for Dietary Supplements and FSMP – A Managerial Perspective”
as part of the session: “Packaging for Dietary Supplements”

Aleksandra Diskau presented on the topic:
“Packaging of Dietary Supplements and FSMP – Labeling, Claims, and Beyond: Law, Practice, and Challenges”
also within the session: “Packaging for Dietary Supplements”

Były to:

In the context of the food and packaging industry, AJ LAW placed particular emphasis on several key elements. Food safety is a top priority, which is why it is essential to ensure that packaging does not negatively impact the quality and safety of stored food. Sustainability is equally important, meaning the use of environmentally friendly materials and minimizing packaging waste. Technological innovations play a crucial role in the operations of many companies, introducing modern solutions in packaging production that enhance functionality and durability. These developments present numerous legal challenges for entities striving to meet these requirements—especially in light of the packaging revolution, as highlighted by Attorney Joanna Uchańska. Product labeling and marking must comply with regulations, providing consumers with complete information about ingredients, nutritional values, and warnings. This topic certainly requires great caution, as discussed in the lecture by Attorney Aleksandra Diskau. Formulating health claims in accordance with regulations is essential to avoid misleading consumers. Packaging quality must meet high standards, protecting products from damage and contamination. Compliance with consumer protection laws, including regulations on food product advertising and marketing, is also critical.

We are proud to have been part of this prestigious event and are already looking forward to future editions. We thank the organizers for the professional preparation of the conference and all participants for the inspiring conversations.

See you next year and at other upcoming events — more details coming soon!
