Regulation on packaging and packaging waste (PPWR) and the cosmetics industry. Cosmetic packaging at a crossroads. Training.

In January 2025, for some, the Year of the Dragon ended and the Year of the Snake began, while for others, the era of one set of standards ended and a time of new packaging challenges began. In fact, Regulation 2025/40 (dated December 19, 2024) was published in the Official Journal of the EU, which will require the design of packaging that is recyclable or reusable, will limit waste, promote sustainable technologies, and harmonize regulations across the EU.

The regulation applies to many industries and sectors. The cosmetics industry, too, faces significant changes resulting from this Regulation. Proper preparation for the changes and challenges associated with it should be based on thorough knowledge. This is the key to understanding, preparing for, and implementing these changes.

In response to those seeking answers to both theoretical and, above all, practical questions, as well as guidance in this area, Attorney Dr. Joanna Uchańska will participate as a speaker in the training titled: “Cosmetic Packaging at a Crossroads. PPWR and Beyond. Selected Aspects: Law and Practice.”
