Joanna Ucha\u0144ska presented cases that have significantly reshaped the legal landscape of advertising for sensitive products \u2014 from the groundbreaking judgment on the ban on pharmacy advertising, through rulings on covert advertising in social media, to substantial fines for attributing medicinal properties to dietary supplements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants of the <strong>Postgraduate Medical Law Studies<\/strong>, including doctors, pharmacists, nurses, midwives, and legal professionals specializing in healthcare, had the opportunity to analyze numerous case studies, including examples of visual and audiovisual communication assessed by supervisory authorities. The lecture also covered current guidelines on presenting scientific research in advertisements and rules for avoiding misleading associations that could confuse consumers. Topics related to <strong>\u201cborderline\u201d products<\/strong> \u2014 those that may fall under different legal regimes (cosmetics, supplements, medicines) \u2014 sparked particular interest, as incorrect classification or imprecise communication can lead to severe sanctions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lecture was not only an opportunity to share knowledge but also to engage in an in-depth discussion on the ethical responsibility of businesses and the growing importance of transparency in marketing activities.
