  1. What personal data do we process?

Among the personal data we process are your email address, first and last name, phone number, and possibly other information that facilitates identification or is included in the message you send us. Additionally, we will process any personal data you include in the description of your case or provide in the documents you send to us.

To make it easier for you to contact AJ LAW, we have created a contact form on the Website.

The legal basis for processing the personal data you enter in this form is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (i.e., processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller). This legitimate interest is our intention to establish contact with individuals interested in our services, which is why we collect such data.

We process the following personal data of individuals visiting the AJ LAW fanpages on Instagram and LinkedIn: first and last name, other data that may potentially be included in private messages, other data that may potentially be included in reviews, recommendations, comments, etc., as well as publicly available data (including profile pictures) shared on the user’s individual profile.

Additionally, on Instagram and LinkedIn, your personal data is primarily processed for the purpose of enabling the functionalities of these platforms, such as “Like,” following, commenting, etc. In such cases, the legal basis for processing this data is the user’s consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR), which is implicitly given by liking or following the fanpage, liking or sharing posts, leaving comments, recommendations, reviews, etc. You may withdraw this consent at any time by deleting your comments, recommendations, reviews, etc., or by unliking, unfollowing, unsharing, etc.

The personal data of individuals visiting our fanpage (including through the use of cookies) is also processed by us for statistical and analytical purposes. In this regard, the data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller). This legitimate interest is the monitoring and analysis of traffic and the compilation of visit statistics for our fanpage on Instagram or LinkedIn.

In all other cases, your personal data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller). These legitimate interests include market research, informing users of the AJ LAW fanpage on Instagram or LinkedIn about our activities, establishing contact with individuals interested in AJ LAW’s services, as well as the establishment, exercise, and defense of legal claims.

  1. What is the purpose?

The above personal data is processed solely for the purpose of assessing whether the presented case qualifies for the provision of effective legal support. AJ LAW processes personal data only in legally permitted cases, under the conditions provided by law, in particular when it is necessary: for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, or to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract; for compliance with a legal obligation to which AJ LAW is subject; for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by AJ LAW (or by other entities); or based on the consent given by the data subject.

In all other cases, your personal data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller). Visiting our fanpage on Instagram or LinkedIn is entirely voluntary, as is leaving comments, likes, reviews, etc. However, if you choose to visit it, data for statistical purposes may be collected automatically.

  1. Data Processor. Who do we share your data with?

We process data solely for our own use. However, in order to perform our work effectively, we may share your personal data only with our collaborators, public authorities, and service providers to whom we outsource tasks related to personal data processing — for example, IT service providers, marketing service providers, or data storage providers. These entities process data based on agreements with us and only in accordance with our instructions.

The data of all users of the Website is processed within an IT system, which is partly hosted in a so-called public cloud provided by third-party entities (responsible for hosting the Website).

The personal data of individuals using the contact form is also processed within an IT system, which is partly hosted in a cloud environment provided by third-party entities responsible for hosting the email services we use. Due to the location of these entities’ servers, such data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in third countries. However, these entities guarantee an adequate level of data protection.

Our IT systems are maintained by an external specialized service provider. While delivering services to us, this provider may have access to your personal data.


In addition, anonymous data of all Website users contained in cookies is disclosed to Google LLC, which provides us with the Google Analytics service. The servers of this company are located in various parts of the world, which means that such data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area.   1. For how long?

We will store your data until you withdraw your consent or 30 days after the initial case analysis is completed (if we determine that the case qualifies for acceptance, your data will be processed in connection with the performance of the contract). Personal data provided via the form will be stored no longer than necessary for AJ LAW to respond to you, and after that time, it may be retained in case of potential claims for the period of their limitation as defined by law. The processing of your personal data contained in cookies continues until the ability to use them is disabled. You can do this by deleting cookies and changing your cookie settings in your browser. After these actions, we will delete or anonymize your data.

  1. On what legal basis?

The legal basis for processing this personal data is your consent to the processing of the personal data provided, given when filling out the case submission form or in connection with contacting us. Attention. You have several rights that allow you to influence how we process your personal data and, in some cases, to request that such processing be stopped. However, when it comes to the processing of personal data (including the use of cookies) for the purpose of statistics on our fan page on Instagram or LinkedIn, the responsibility for exercising these rights lies with Instagram, i.e., Meta Platforms, Inc., and Microsoft Corporation, respectively.

  1. How can you withdraw your consent?

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your data at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of your consent before its withdrawal. You can withdraw your consent by sending a statement of withdrawal to our postal address or email address. However, after the withdrawal of consent, we will no longer have a legal basis to continue providing you with legal support in your case.

  1. Are you required to provide your data?

Providing your personal data in the contact form available on the Website is entirely voluntary, but necessary for us to respond to your inquiry.   1. Automated processing, including profiling

The data contained in cookies is processed in an automated manner, as defined by the GDPR. However, this data is not subject to profiling. Your other personal data will not be processed in an automated manner (including profiling).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for personal data protection, i.e., the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
